Comprehensive Thermal Solutions for System Stabilitys
Thermal management is crucial for maintaining system stability from the start of computer development. At YYcase, we offer a wide range of thermal solutions tailored to our clients' needs. Our carefully arranged and expertly designed airflow systems are both effective and efficient in addressing heat issues. With the rise of high-density data centers, we have introduced powerful rack-level water cooling kits to tackle extreme heat generated by high-end CPUs and GPUs.
Three Levels of Thermal Solutions
Case-Based Solutions
For case-based solutions, the most common method is air cooling. With proper airflow design, cooling fans or blowers can efficiently expel hot air, making it both easy and economical. For advanced requirements with high-performance components or limited space, we utilize close-loop water cooling radiators to efficiently resolve heat issues without significant changes to the case design.
Rack-Based Solutions
For rack-based solutions, we employ CDUs (Cooling Distribution Units) or rack-sized radiator backdoors with fan arrays. Cooling plates inside the case cool the CPU, while coolant is piped inside and outside via inlet and outlet sets, aided by liquid-air CDUs or simple pumping systems. This solution can handle heat loads from 10-40kW for the entire rack. CDMs (Coolant Distribution Manifolds) behind the rack help distribute the coolant.
Room-Based Solutions
For room-based solutions, we continue to use cooling plates for the CPU, alongside CDUs (Cooling Distribution Units) and CDMs (Coolant Distribution Manifolds) to pump and distribute coolant. We employ liquid-liquid CDUs, with cool coolant supplied by a coolant tower, either inside or outside the room. Our 120KW CDU solution ensures optimal cooling performance. This solution typically requires close cooperation and customization of room construction and piping system design. We welcome discussions with clear requirements.
